Vetting & Safeguarding
The safeguarding and security of children is our number one priority and we are extremely thorough in our vetting and screening process for all candidates. All candidates are personally interviewed by specialist Classroom Support consultants, with identities, work experience, qualifications, DBS status and references all fully checked and reviewed before we recommend them for placement in your school.
We are proud members of the Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC) and closely follow their guidelines as to safeguarding and vetting. Confirming a booking with Classroom Support
For every supply booking you make, your dedicated consultant will send you a Classroom Support Vetting & Safeguarding document – verifying the following information:
Face-to-face interview
Right to work check
Photo ID and address check
Children’s Barred List check (formerly known as List 99)
A current enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check registered with the Update Service
Teaching Regulation Agency (TRA) lists checked for any relevant prohibitions, sanctions and details of qualifications and induction
Medical check
Minimum of two professional references obtained
Relevant qualifications check
Childcare Disqualification Questionnaire (for candidates working within the primary sector)
